WEBSITE TERMS
Last updated: 30 August 2026
About these terms
These terms govern your use of the April Maria website.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the website.
Separate terms may apply when you book therapy, coaching, an event, a course, a membership or another paid service.
Age requirement
This website and the services promoted through it are intended for adults aged 18 or over.
By making a booking or purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract.
Website information
The website contains information about therapy, coaching, relationships, sexual wellbeing, events, courses and educational resources.
Website content is provided for general information and education. It is not a substitute for personalised medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or emergency support.
You should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional about medical symptoms, medication, diagnosis or treatment.
Reasonable care is taken when preparing website content, but no guarantee is made that every item is complete, current or appropriate for your individual circumstances.
Therapy and coaching
Submitting an enquiry does not create a therapist-client, coach-client or other professional relationship.
A professional relationship begins only after suitability has been confirmed and the applicable service agreement has been accepted.
Therapy and coaching are different services. Their scope, fees, confidentiality, cancellation arrangements and responsibilities will be explained before the service begins.
No particular result can be guaranteed.
Emergencies
The website and contact form are not emergency or crisis services.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 999 or attend the nearest accident and emergency department.
For urgent medical advice in the UK, contact NHS 111.
For confidential emotional support, contact Samaritans on 116 123.
Prices and payments
Prices will be shown before you agree to a purchase or paid service.
Unless stated otherwise, prices are in pounds sterling.
Bookings and purchases are not confirmed until the required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.
Payments may be processed by an independent payment provider under that provider’s terms.
Cancellation rights
Nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights.
Eligible online service contracts will normally include a 14-day cancellation period.
If you expressly request that a service begins during this period and later cancel, you may be required to pay for the proportion already supplied.
If a service is completed during the cancellation period following your express request and acknowledgement, the right to cancel may end once the service has been fully performed.
Additional appointment, event or rescheduling terms will be provided before booking.
Digital content
Digital content may include workbooks, guides, courses, templates, recordings or downloads.
Where you request immediate access, you may be asked to consent to supply beginning immediately and acknowledge that your cancellation right will end once access or downloading begins.
This does not affect your rights where digital content is faulty or not as described.
Digital materials are for your personal use unless another licence is provided.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the original content on this website is owned by or licensed to April Maria.
You may view the website and save or print a reasonable amount for personal, non-commercial use.
Without written permission, you must not:
reproduce or redistribute substantial content;
sell or commercially exploit materials;
share paid resources or account access;
remove copyright notices;
present the content as your own; or
use the content to train an artificial-intelligence system.
Acceptable use
You must not use the website:
unlawfully or fraudulently;
to harass or impersonate another person;
to submit harmful code;
to interfere with website security;
to gain unauthorised access;
to scrape or systematically extract content;
to submit deliberately false information; or
to infringe another person’s rights.
External services
The website may refer you to independent websites, professionals, clinics, payment providers or social-media platforms.
April Maria does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security or data practices.
Availability
Continuous or error-free access to the website cannot be guaranteed.
The website may be changed, restricted or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, legal or technical reasons.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or breach of rights that cannot legally be excluded.
April Maria is responsible for foreseeable losses caused by a breach of these terms or a failure to use reasonable care and skill.
April Maria is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, inaccurate information supplied by you, misuse of general website information or an independent third-party service.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
The use of cookies is explained in the Cookie Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the website, services or applicable law changes.
The latest version will appear on this page with its revision date.
