About Me
I’m April, a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist (trainee), Embodied Intimacy Coach and Sex Educator. Before any of that, I was someone who felt completely disconnected from my body and pleasure. I know what it’s like to experience painful sex, chronic illness, mental health struggles and the heavy shame that can surround intimacy.
Rebuilding my relationship with my body wasn’t a quick fix. It took time, curiosity and compassion. That experience now shapes how I support others.
Today, I provide confidential online therapy for individuals and couples across the UK who feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure how to navigate sex, desire, intimacy and connection. Whether you’re exploring your relationship with yourself or struggling to feel close to your partner, I’ll support you in moving from disconnection towards a deeper, more fulfilling sense of intimacy.
My approach combines professional training, lived experience, honest conversations and evidence-informed tools. Together, we’ll explore what you need and help you reconnect with your body, your relationships and pleasure in a way that feels safe, supportive and true to you.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Both coaching and therapy can offer a supportive, non-judgemental space to explore sex, intimacy and relationships, but they work in slightly different ways.
Therapy often creates more space to understand why certain patterns, feelings or difficulties are showing up. We may explore past experiences, relationship dynamics, emotional responses, shame, anxiety or other factors that are affecting your sexual and relational wellbeing. The work can be deeper and more exploratory, particularly when something feels longstanding, distressing or difficult to shift.
Coaching tends to be more present and future-focused. It’s often a good fit if you have a particular area you’d like to understand, explore or change and want practical support getting there. Sessions may include education, exercises, reflection tools and techniques to try between sessions — for example, exploring desire, building sexual confidence, improving communication or reconnecting with pleasure.

The number of sessions depends on your unique goals and the complexity of the issues you’d like to work on. Some clients find clarity and progress in just a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support over a longer period. During our first session, we’ll discuss your needs and create a tailored plan to help you achieve your desired outcomes.

Not at all. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to work on or what you want to change.
Sometimes you might simply know that something doesn’t feel quite right — perhaps you feel disconnected from your body, your desire has changed, intimacy feels difficult, or you want to understand yourself or your relationship better.
Part of our work together can be exploring what’s going on and identifying what feels important to you. Your goals may also change as we go, and that’s completely okay.
You don’t need to have the answers before you start. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are more than enough.
